NIBONG TEBAL, PULAU PINANG, 1ST AUGUST 2019 - SoMech Postgraduate Students’ Association organized a badminton friendly match between postgraduate students and staff of School of the School of Mechanical Engineering USM today at Kompleks Sukan, USM Engineering Campus. The purpose of the event is to strengthen the relationship between student and staff, encourage people to do sports activities as a way to release stress, improve the experience of the postgraduate scholars through sport and ensure work life balance.

The game which was solely sponsored by the School of Mechanical Engineering saw a sizeable number of staff and student turn out for the event with each producing 6 pairs of participants and numerous others who came to witness the event. 

The staff team came up as the winner in a keenly contested friendly game. At the end of the event, prizes were given to both teams in the presence of the Deputy Deans, Dr. Abdullah and Dr. Aizat. All participants enjoyed the event and hopefully, look forward to future activities like this. Finger food (small chops and cakes) were served to all participants and spectators.
