NIBONG TEBAL, 10 December 2025 - The School of Mechanical Engineering, together with MECHYS, successfully organised a career forum featuring three USM alumni: Dr. Boey Kok Hoong (Solid Precision Engineering), Mr. Noor Hisyam Ahmad (Boeing Composites Malaysia), and Ts. Mohammad Syukur Md Noh (B. Braun Medical Industries). The forum was attended by first- and second-year students, who gained early exposure to real engineering pathways, industry expectations, and the skills needed to succeed.
The panelists shared their career journeys, industry challenges, future technology trends, and practical advice for preparing for internships, projects, and future roles. Students also engaged in a meaningful Q&A session on managing engineering failures, standing out during internships, and building the right professional mindset.
