A delegation from Taiwan’s universities, led by Prof. Ching-Yao Chen visited the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) on 5 September 2019. Members of the delegation includes Prof. Shu-San Hsiau (National Central University), Prof. Ming-Jyh Chern (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology), Prof. Chun-Liang Yeh (Feng Chia University), Prof. I-Ling Chang (National Cheng Kung University) and Assoc. Prof. Kim Boon Lua (National Chiao Tung University).

Taiwan's academic delegates with USM School of Mechanical academic staffs

During the visit, the delegation visited Advanced Packaging & Surface Mount Technology Lab, Biomass Energy & Energy Efficiency System Lab, Automotive Lab and The Vibration Lab. This meeting helped to strengthen the existing links with Taiwan’s universities and identified common areas of interest.
