On Wednesday, 14 December 2022, a group of 34 Manufacturing Engineering Program Third Year students led by Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Chin Jeng Feng visited ViTrox Technologies Sdn. Bhd. at the Batu Kawan, Penang. ViTrox Technologies is a home-grown integrated design and manufacturing corporation that specializes in vision technologies utilized extensively in semiconductor industry. The students were taken on a tour of the plant, which included product design and development, manufacture and assembly, the academy, etc. The tour helps them to learn about the complexities and management of manufacturing. School of Mechanical Engineering is appreciative of ViTrox's arrangement and hospitality during the visit.
