The event featured a career talk by Jacy Teh, Senior Specialist in Talent Acquisition, who highlighted the company’s focus on building high-performing teams through strategic talent development and recruitment. Her session emphasized the qualities MFM looks for in future engineers and gave insights into their employer branding and hiring philosophy.

A technical and leadership sharing session by Ling Hwa Wei, Manager of Production, gave students a clearer picture of MFM’s operations, production flow, and engineering challenges in a modern manufacturing environment.

The most inspiring moment came from Muhammad Fikri, a senior production engineer currently enrolled in MFM’s Fast Track Programme. He shared his journey, the real-world learning experience he gained, and how the programme is designed to accelerate young engineers into leadership roles.

Following the talk, MFM conducted an Open Interview Session for internships and full-time positions, targeting students from Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronic, and Mechatronic backgrounds. Opportunities offered included entry into MFM’s Talent Development Programme, complete with mentorship, structured career progression, and competitive compensation.

The session concluded with high turnout and engagement, marking another successful collaboration between academia and industry to nurture Malaysia’s next generation of engineering professionals.
