Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering with Management

The School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia offers this coursework-based postgraduate programme to provide candidates with comprehensive exposure to advanced manufacturing systems, industrial automation, and management strategies. Programme Overview

Introduced in Academic Session 2025/2026, this programme combines engineering and management perspectives to prepare graduates for leadership and technical decision-making in modern manufacturing environments. Students are exposed to current theoretical foundations together with practical applications relevant to industry.

Programme Structure

This programme comprises university courses, core courses, elective courses, and a Master Project. All students are required to complete three university courses, four core courses, four elective courses, and one Master Project. A minimum enrolment of five students is required for any track or course to be offered, subject to coordination between the programme coordinator and students prior to the start of the semester.
