23 Nov  – Dr. Chan Woei Leong, a research scientist at the Temasek Laboratories of the National University of Singapore (NUS), gave an inspiring research talk on “Development of Insect-Inspired Flapping Wing Micro-Air-Vehicles”

The interest on small flying machine had led Dr. Chan and co-researchers from NUS to develop small flapping wing micro-air-vehicle (FWMAV). In the talk, Dr. Chan also discusses on the challenges encountered and solutions implemented during the development process, and the future prospect of insect-inspired flight.
