One of the primary objectives of the Smart SolDry Home is to address the government's emphasis on food security. By converting waste into a valuable food product, the project aligns with the government's intentions and aims to contribute to the local community's economic growth. The Persatuan Peladang Kawasan Tasek, Simpang Ampat, a community organization, actively participated in this initiative.

Traditionally, the drying process of cow skin to obtain the desired texture for consumption takes approximately six months. However, with the introduction of the Smart SolDry Home, this time-consuming process is significantly reduced to just one month, while maintaining the same high quality as the conventional method. Moreover, the enclosed space ensures the hygiene and cleanliness of the final product. The positive impact of this project extends beyond the economic benefits to the community. It also addresses the challenge of disposing of cow skins, particularly during Hari Raya Korban (Eid al-Adha). By providing an innovative solution, the Smart SolDry Home not only generates income for the community but also tackles an environmental concern.
