On July 3, 2023, USM-NYCU Technical Workshop on Mechanical Engineering has been organized to impart recent advanced in Mechanical Engineering research. This workshop is participated by academic delegate from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), led by Prof. Dr. LUA Kim Boon. The members of the delegate include Prof. Dr. HUANG Cheng Sheng and Prof. Dr. LAU Gih Keong. This workshop is intended to promote close collabration between USM and NYCU, in particularly in mechanical engineering.

During the visit, the delegation visited The Vibration Lab and Biomass Energy & Energy Efficiency System Lab. Discussion in this workshop helped to strengthen the existing links with Taiwan’s universities and identified common areas of interest.
