On October 22, 2025, an industrial visit by 21 undergraduate students from School of Mechanical Engineering with lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yu Kok Hwa to Mi Equipment is held. The visit hosted by Ms TN Ong, Vice President (HR and Admin) and her team, give exposure to the students on the nature of work for mechanical engineering and the opportunities in career development in this area. Sharing on the technical expertise by Mr. TK Chan (Chief Operating Officer) and Mr. TN Chan (Specialist Engineering of Mechanical Department) on semiconductor industry, including the packaging, testing and visual inspection are made.  The students are also exposured to the technical insights on the skills and attributes on mechanical engineering work.
